BY THE JAMES, IN THE CITY - The James River Art League celebrates its 60th Anniversary with a special exhibit. As a nod to our beautiful James River and City of Richmond, member artwork will feature these subjects.
VIGNETTES OF REALITY - Gregory Millslagle is an observer of life’s common occurrences. By rendering these often-overlooked moments in watercolor, Gregory gives viewers the opportunity to contemplate their deeper meaning.
FARM STAND - Central Virginia Botanical Artists, working in a variety of media, draw inspiration from Summer’s bounty, featuring things you would find at a farm stand: fresh-picked fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, and plants for sale. Wonderfully beautiful and colorful.
LION ROCK PAINTING MASTERPIECES - With river rocks and acrylic paints, The Center’s Art Safari campers between the ages of 7-10 will share their painted interpretations of Africa’s most notorious apex predator.

MEMORIES OF NORTHERN GHANA
Chief Babs’ artwork comes from his memories of growing up in Northern Ghana,surrounded by Dagomba culture. Since coming to the United States in 2011, heuses painting and artwork to remember and celebrate traditional African dance,music, village life, hard work, and family.
RVA-LUG CELEBRATES 10 YEARS IN BRICK
The Richmond Virginia LEGO® Users Group is a hobby club for AFOLs (Adult Fansof LEGO) in the Central Virginia area and beyond, from Roanoke to Williamsburgand Emporia to Fredericksburg. RVA-LUG finds LEGO fascinating. It’s a fantasticart medium which knows no age, time, language, or cultural limits.
A PLEASURE TO BEHOLD
From digitally generated images to representational oil painting, this exhibitspans concepts of space-time to the nostalgia of yesteryear. Color,mark-making, scale, humanity, and future/history converge to provideinteresting concepts of the newest in visual arts by members of the MetropolitanRichmond Artists Association.

Presented by the County of Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks and The Cultural Arts Center, enjoy an evening film presentation of Wonka outdoors with friends and neighbors in our spacious Center Field venue. Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs. Admission is free with a donation to benefit the Henrico County’s Christmas Mother program. Strawberry Street Food Truck will be onsite!
