What better way to close out the season than to swing with one of the greatest bands of all time! The Glenn Miller Orchestra, one of the most popular and sought after big bands in the world today brings its unique brand of smooth and swinging jazz to The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. Formed in 1938 by arranger Glenn Miller, the original orchestra worked until 1942. The current band was formed in 1956 and has been touring worldwide ever since as a tribute to the wonderful music of this bygone era. Lush horn and wind arrangements soar above the soft danceable grooves of the rhythm section, as silky vocals flood​​​​​​​.
