Center Field Outdoor Show! General Admission Seating. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us for a fun afternoon of live music on our  outdoor stage! Wine/beer/beverages and snacks available for sale at the show. Fans of real country music will instantly recognize the authentic sound of RVA’s Slate River Band. Originally founded in 1989 by Michelle & Nick Nixon, the current line-up features the Nixons supported by Randy Cook (pedal steel), Morgan Easter (keys), Steve Easter (bass), Eddie Shiflett (guitar/mando), and Craig Lokey (drums). Slate River Band returns to CenterField with covers of classic country music hits from the 60’s to today – with an emphasis on the 90’s. Enjoy an afternoon of twangy, two-steppin’ classics by the likes of Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Mark Chestnut, Vince Gill, and more!
