November 4th
On the anniversary of King Tut being discovered, we will design an Egyptian amulet using beads, salt dough, and objects from long ago. Plus, we will create name signs using ancient hieroglyphics!
December 22nd
In this special elf workshop, bring your hat! We’ll be making homemade presents, listening to holiday music, and sipping on hot chocolate with all of the toppings!
February 16th
Experience the vibrancy of Mardi Gras by sharing (and eating) the tradition of King Cake. Later, prepare to conceal your identity by making and parading masquerade masks!
March 20th
Discover why the Asian Elephant is sacred to the people in Thailand. Learn cool facts, make cool art, and help us construct a large elephant sculpture to be displayed inside The Cultural Arts Center!

June 2nd - June 6th - FULL
Love Art? Love turtles? In collaboration with the Box Turtle Sanctuary of Central VA, campers will have hands-on experiences with different turtle species. As we paint, draw, craft, and sculpt turtles, campers will gain new knowledge and compassion for conservation. On Friday, June 6th, the camp artwork is revealed at a special art exhibit for friends and family.

July 21st - July 25th - Waitlist Only
In this French-inspired camp, young artists will become immersed in French culture, experimenting in the style of great French artists with impressionism, pointillism, sculpture, and plein air. On Friday, July 25, families are invited to a gallery showing in the Cardinal Ballroom, showcasing the campers’ Parisian artwork. Tres magnifique!

Auditions will be held during camp hours on Tuesday, June 17th.

(July 7th - July 11th) - FULL
Got drama?! Bring it to camp and meet new friends! Together the campers will learn about theatre, singing, choreography, costuming, and have the option to audition. Of course, there will be ice-breaking games as well! On Friday, July 11th, family and friends are invited to The Cultural Arts Center to see their campers’ musical on stage!
