Students will learn Java™ programming and basic coding concepts as they design and build their own customized Minecraft server.
Shibori is the ancient Japanese style of resist dying using binding techniques. Explore different techniques of resist dying such as stitching (touch of mokume), pole wrapping, binding, and clamping. Plant based fabrics and sabricon dyes will be used to create multiple samples.

Cost: $45. Students must also bring 2 yards of cellulose (plant) fabric such as cotton (recommended), hemp, soy, rayon, bamboo, and/or linen, as well as two spools of non-flavored dental floss.
Basic knitting knowledge needed – Participants will learn how to knit in the round. Basic hat pattern terminology will be learned and step-by-step guidance given as students knit a hat from the pattern of their choice.
Learn basic knitting and purling skills while creating a scarf that has different samples of common stitches. You will also learn how to create your own visual patterns with knitting & purling.
