YPG Art Experience Series

As part of YPG's commitment to the execution of our mission, we would like to announce our latest initiative, a partnership with The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen (CACGA). Selected because of their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of education in and through the art culture, this partnership will create an opportunity for current and future members to gain access to a wide array of introductory workshops and seminars that revolve around the arts. The YPG Art Experience Series is designed to encourage everyone to become actively engaged in arts - as an artist or one who simply enjoys or wants to learn more about a specific topic.

Experiences will be offered in two categories:

Art Appreciation Events - Develop a greater appreciation and deeper understanding of a variety of art forms, mediums, styles, and artists through art excursions, guest speakers, exhibits and other diverse experiences.

Introductory Art and Experimental Workshops - Take the first step into the world of art - as the artist. Attendees will try their hand at a new medium or style. These classes and workshops are a great way to add a spark of creativity to one's day. Sharpen skills, learn a new craft or hobby, expand the creative comfort zone, meet new friends and mentors, and learn new techniques in a no-pressure environment.
