Two Chinese artists show the starting point, subsequent expansion, and transformation of their imagination through their traditional Chinese works. Peipei Liu pursues free imagination and the expression of emotions which adds a sense of the drawing to his calligraphy. Rong Wu uses traditional painting to express her feelings on life blended with imagination. Between the visible and invisible each image shows the authentic charm and spirt of Chinese art.

The Richmond Divas - Debra Wagoner, Cathy Motley-Fitch and Desiree Roots - re-unite on The Center's stage once again for another dynamic musical performance. This year as part of their fourth production, the three Richmond Divas sing an evening of traditional, contemporary and fun holiday music. This one-of-a-kind performance by Richmond's own incredibly talented Divas is one night only and can only be seen at The Center.

A Christmas Story
A Comedy by Philip Grecian based on the moton picture "A Christmas Story" written by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark and on the book "In God We Trust , All Others Pay Cash" by Jean Shepherd

Humorist Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the 1940's Midwest follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. He pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus. The consistent response: "You'll shoot your eye out." All of the elements from the beloved motion picture are here for this joyous celebration of childhood. Tickets on sale starting October 29.

This classic story tells of sugar plum fairies and old St. Nick, but there's another story behind this timeless classic as portrayed by Theatre IV. The audience is taken to the home of Clement Clark Moore and his family the day before Christmas. Moore ispressed for time and is stressed beyond imgination because his daughter is sick and he has not written the family's annual Christmas poem. With the spirit of Chirstmas in the air, the story takes a musical and magical turn for the best. This Center area-exclusive public performance written by Bruce Miller, is a beautiful expression of a father's love and the mysteries of Christmas.
